Smart Structures EDC Operator Recertification

It's amazing that 3 years have passed since the first SmartPile Certified users were trained and certified.   Very soon, some Embedded Data Collector (EDC) tester certifications will expire and you will need to renew your certificate (ID).   The process varies on the experience of the user, but it begins by completing the Recertification Spreadsheet, reviewing and signing the Software User's Agreement and sending this along with a check ($35) to Smart Structures for processing.  Expedite fees will also apply based on the situation.

Here are links for the documents that you need to complete and review:

Request for Recertification Spreadsheet

SmartPile End User License Agreement

When you've completed the above, send them along with a check to Smart Structures ($35) and an updated picture (optional, passport size) for the certificate to:

Smart Structures

Recertification

324 2nd Street Pike, Unit 13

Southampton,  PA   18966

We will review the application, and then work with Verbeek Management Services to update and re-issue your card.   Please note that if you have been certified level one or two and cannot reference any EDC drives (in the last 2 years), you will need to re-test and certify to be an EDC Tester.

We encourage you to complete this paperwork as soon as possible, as processing will take several weeks.
